Swifteye47: I think, in a way, it is easy not to belive when you are that age.
Swifteye47: basically, when you are a teen, you are just discovering your own beliefs, and it can be exciting to realize that now you are really choosing your own path. It’s easy to get caught up in something you don’t really understand, and not see that you don’t know enough to have a true opinion. I say this knowing that the only reason I know enough to have a true opinion is because I know I have chosen the right way. But then, how do I know I have chosen the right way?
Swifteye47: I just realized that I don’t know enough to defend myself.
Swifteye47: Someone might be close to coming to God, and then get away again, because I couldn’t defend myself.
Swifteye47: Better get studying

I just had a conversation, and realized it was mostly with myself. It’s something to work on, I think. I assume that by sheer will power I can convince…well, no, people aren’t like that. They want substance…not just pretty air castles.

Often when I’m talking to people about important things about life, I will be telling them something, but at the same time I’m preaching it to myself. I’m able to talk best about the areas I’m working on at the moment. …if you get what i mean.
