Bored.

i AM BORED. oH WELL. oOPS. i DIDN’T PRESS cAPS LOCK! oH WELL. i DON’T MIND. oH GOSH! i HAVEN’T EVEN SAID ANYTHING ABOUT THE MAYOR! yIKES!
Ahem. There.
Well, WHitney and I had heard about the path that the city wanted to build, and we were mad. It will ruin our neighborhood! So when we saw that area being torn up, we ran into her house and wrote up a petition. Then we ended up with Dori, Leah, Whitney and I, and we got thirteen signatures from around the neighborhood. (Oh, before that we discovered that they were not yet making the path, but were working on a sewer system. The path’s fate is yet to be decided. I think. I HOPE!)
So then we decided to take the petition to the mayor. He had been whitney’s soft ball coach, and leah’s dad knew him from meetings, and mom had met him, and I had coached his kid a little in drama. Well, we called to see if he was there and he wasn’t there. Whit’s mom emailed him, and he is coming to our neighborhood to have a meeting with us! The nervewracking thing is, her mom decided I was spokesperson because, well, I was. Oh well. The thing is, I have to basically organize it with the other people involved! Wow. *sigh*
Oh well. Whitney’s mom had better get home soon or I will start hyperventilating. Big trucks are going by as I speak. Uh, type. Oh, another thing, we are going to go picketting if they go ahead with the path!
Wish us luck. Actually, a prayer would be much more efficient!
Bye!
