Transplanted from xanga

Somehow bloggers must find a balance between the whiny “Sorry for not posting…not that anyone cares” and the arrogant “Who wants a post? You want a post!” *
In any case, I haven’t posted for a week.

Saturday- Huge rain and wind storm. We went out to Fort Williams to watch the waves. The wind was strong enough to blow my Mom over, and I clutched Dad to stay on my feet. The spray from waves hitting the rocks was a mere three feet shy of the top spire of the lighthouse at some points.
Sunday- Kendra, Dad and I sang a trio in church and got many compliments. It was nice. Sunday School was laid back and I got hyper.
Monday- Went to the dentist, where they informed me that I needed braces, per usual, and that I needed half a million teeth pulled, not usual.
Tuesday- Went to chorus and threatened to set Mrs. Libby on fire.
Wednesday- Played outside with Jordan and Than.
Today- Babysat for the Teddars. Came home and dealt with AU work, went to Math group. Came home feeling very lonely indeed.

I…don’t really have anything to say. I hope everyone’s having a good week. If you have anything you’d like me to pray for, please let me know.

It’s big and green. No idea how that happened.

Hi Hannah! The wind storm sounds rediculously cool- I’m jealous. =D Iowa is pretty fun. I really like classes, generally, but I’m glad its the weekend. All the freshman have to take an englishy course called Paideia and we had a paper due today. It was really wierd- a bunch of people asked me to proofread their papers. I was like “what? I like reading, but since when was I taught grammer? Can I spell? No.” It made me kinda happy. I’ve found that people in the midwest are often less open minded about homeschooling than people in the East, and having a bunch of people come to listen to Sonja the Homeschoolers advise them concerning a subject that she kind of picked up on, rather that actually ever studied, was pretty liberating/exciting/um… I dunno. It just made me feel all warm and fuzzy. Anyhow, Now that I’ve written your ear off talking about random things, (How did I get from wind storms to Paideia??) =D I believe its time for dinner! Love, Sonja

That’s entertaining, Sone! You are pretty good at editing stuff, although you’re right, you CAN’T spell. =)
About the rain storm…Sunday morning I was getting ready for church, looking out the kitchen window, and all of a sudden a big tree just topples right over and takes out a huge branch from the tree out back (the one that used to have the rope swings on it). =P It was kinda cool.
What is this about threatening to set Mrs. Libby afire? Is there a story behind this? =P
