How sad.

A national campaign is trying to motivate kids to read six books this summer. A noble cause, to be sure…but only six? What is our world coming to if it’s considered a stretch to read six books over the course of three months?

Hannah, how about we start a national campaign to get parents to read twice as many books as their kids do this summer and challenge the kids to get their parents to have to read,… hmm let’s see kids read 24 books and parents will have to read 48! :-D

How thick are we talking here? Novels? Nonfiction? Anything? =)
    I think that’s a good idea, Aunt Joni! =)

Gee, thank you Krissy! I think novels and non-fiction but they have to be at least 250 pages – um maybe less if you are 10 and under. What do you think?
