Pasta’s cookin’…

As is my wont, I spoke too soon. Ah well, I was half expecting to find that I’d messed up somewhere. The bodice will be just about perfect for the formal, because I can use darts for that dress. But before I can do the WW, I need to tighten the armscy until it’s right around my shoulder and under my arm. Apparently tighter armscys give more room, and here I was making it extra big when that really makes it less comfortable.
The problem is just that I’ve got a bubble on either side of the bust…in order to get rid of that, I’d need to add darts, but the WW doesn’t have them and on such a light fabric they’d be too visible. So I need to either have a friend over (hint hint, Krissy and Sonja) or get Mom to fit me much more tightly. Which involves me lying on the floor wearing the bodice and putting my life in their hands, letting them pin it tighter and tighter until it fits…well, tightly. Heh. I might be able to fix it just be adjusting the armscy. I hope so. Also have to make the v-neck more of a right angle.

I didn’t get to sleep until after eleven last night, which, though it doesn’t sound bad, is late for me. Today hasn’t been terribly easy..I really hate losing sleep.
