I’m off…

Tomorrow morning I’m going to the Conn. Renaissance Faire with Ala and her family. Should be fun, well, except for the fact that Mom and I are getting up at three thirty in order to get there in time. Oh well, at least I’m a morning person! We’ll be driving to Ala’s in Mass, then on to Conn, while Mom goes to Peniel. In all, I’ll have 7 hours of driving before the day is over.
Anyway, I won’t be around for a day or two.
As a parting gift:

Hey, so Hannah… I was trying on last years prom dress cuz I stumbled across it in the closet, and we definitely have to have a semi-formal hoopla sometime. =) That will be FUN! Start thinking of ideas… =) (Just so you know, this wasn’t supposed to have anything to do with your post, I just cheched your blog and it made you think of you [dur], which initiated a long train of thought that ended up on semi-formals. So anyhoo. Now that I’ve wasted a great deal of your time rambling, I think I’ll go do something productive.) Ta!

Yeah, that would be tons of fun. When shall we do it? Are you still going to make a huge fluffy dress thing for your prom?

yeah! We have to do a “masterwork” for humanities, and I think I’ll try to sew something really cool. Wish me luck. Are you trying out for districts this year? I am, and the chorale director at Greely is really miffed at me cuz your supposed to be a member of the school chorus or some such nonsense. I’m looking forward to it. =)

Yep, I’m trying out. I don’t really think I’ll get in…but if we both did, we’d be in the same chorus this year! *dances*

Why don’t you think you’ll get in? You did last year, right? =)8
We should get together and practice the aud. piece. I don’t really know it yet. =o8 =)8 Time for Sonja to go to sleep!

Yes, we should! I know it pretty well, but only because my voice teacher has been hammering it into my skull since June. :P
Eh..it’s harder to get in in your tenth grade year than ninth. We’ll see. I just don’t want to get my hopes up.

does that mean that Sonja will probably not get in? Does it get harder each year? =P

  8. Hannah Said,

Not really. She may have a better chance than me. See, the ninth and eleventh grade girls, if they make it, go to an all girls chorus. The tenth and twelfth grade girls go with the boys into mixed chorus, but because that’s so huge only half of them get in. That make sense?

Peniel, huh? I love Peniel. I really do. It’s always there. Inside my shoe. OK, maybe not inside my shoe, but it has stood the test of time. Can’t even wait for summer.
