Math(2), Science, History,Spanish(2), Grammar, Literature…

Those are my many homework assignments today, and most are really tomorrow’s. *sigh* I finished all but Math though. *grin* Tomorrow, we are skipping school to take our fall family day, to go to Friburg Fair. Sounds naughty, I know, but Dad’s work pays for this one thing, and we are going to actually do it this year. Should be fun!
Oh gosh. My partner for the report I am working on now just had to move and is so busy, that despite the fact that she will still be in the area, she has to quit on me! And thanks to the Redwall Feast, which involves a TON of stress, I have no time to do it completely on my own! *sob*
Pray for me…I don’t really know what I will do. I just have to trust that it will work out fine. Oh well.
Got some PJ’s today. They are comfy!
Gonna go eat and read. bye!

We are putting Julie down

We are putting Julie down Saturday.
Julie is our eighteen year old cat. We have had her almost all of those eighteen years. A year or two ago, she went blind. Now she has a tumor on her shoulder blade that is splitting the skin. She is very happy right now.
I never used to hold her, she only let Dad hold her. She is really his cat. But now that she is blind, let her sniff and she will let anyone she knows hold her.
So very affectionate. I love her so much! She just sits in your arms and purrs, and rubs against you, and…it is so delightful to hold a cat that thinks the world of you. We have had her all my life. I can’t even imagine a day without her! This is going to be incredibly hard. I just can’t believe we are actually putting her down! I am hoping to get a kitten, from my cousins, or otherwise, but nothing could replace Julie! I tend to think that animals go to heaven. I don’t really care what anyone else thinks. That’s not important in this case.
Our family could use your prayers. Julie is a major part of our family.
I am going to go try to take pictures of her.
Really sad.

Eric the Red.

I am going to the library to get books for my report on Eric the Red. It will be awesome. The written report has to be a newspaper, and the oral report a news report! I am working with Audrey! I can’t wait. Well, have to go!

It’s Saturday. Need I say more?

1. Who is your favorite singer/musician? Why? I don’t really know. I like DC Talk, I guess(they are just kinda weird.), but other than that, I don’t really know. I am not a HUGE fan of ccm, but I like it ok. I like folk too. :P

2. What one singer/musician can you not stand? Why? Um, I do not like…uh…I am just too exhausted to know. Seriously. I think that I don’t like KJ-52, but um, I haven’t heard his music. so I am just prejiduced. Don’t know how to spell that. yeeeah.

3. If your favorite singer wasn’t in the music business, do you think you would still like him/her as a person? I don’t have a clue. How can someone answer a question like that when they don’t know the person at all?!?!

4. Have you been to any concerts? If yes, who put on the best show? I went to a Rebecca St. James concert with Nate, whom I met homeschooling. He had an extra ticket. It was good.

5. What are your thoughts on downloading free music online vs. purchasing albums? Do you feel the RIAA is right in its pursuit to stop people from dowloading free music? Um…I don’t have any idea, really. I can’t answer a question I don’t know anything about, much less have an opinion. Actually, I do that all the time, but…(Not download music, stupid, have an opinion when I don’t know about something. lol)\

We climbed Pleasant Mountain today. With friends and an aunt. It was wet, so we slipped a lot. I had to use the bathroom, so I pooped in a bush, then as I walked down, I fell. Literally jumped in the air, and landed on my leg, then slid, getting a good sized cut. It hurt a little, duh, but it was kind of funny. I’m tired. Gonna go sleep or something. :|

Romans 1:20
“For since the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen through what has been made, so that men are without excuse.”
That is not word for word. I have to learn it by Friday, and that is the jist of it. Mostly right.

Ted has an interesting blog and article.

School Days, School Days…

I hate school.
Today I had a hard day, to say the least, but I don’t think I will go into detail.
Well, Than and Uncle Dan went fishing a few days ago for a late birthday present, and guess what we are having for supper? :P You guessed it…FISH!
Mackeral. Call me a whimp, but after seeing what mom took out of it, I am not so sure I want to eat it anymore. Oh well.
Potatoes too. Yum!
Soooooo, I don’t know what to say.
I am going hiking on Saturday, and really hope that a certain friend can come, but she failed a test in school, and it is ok to say this because she didn’t get to finish the story it was on! Now her parents won’t let her come unless she makes it up. *sigh* Mrs. B. doesn’t give extra credit, except for the five extra books you can read, and get a one hundred added into your daily grade for each one, so I am hoping that her parents will just take that as good enough. Not blaming her parents. I can understand their reaction.
Mrs. B. lectured us on how we blow our noses too much today. ha. Well, it’s not our fault that we have colds! yes, yes, sometimes I go up to disguise tears, or because I REALLY need to get the feeling in my rear to return, but…she called us “immature.” It really made me boil. If she wants to be a teacher, she is going to have to teach imperfect human beings. Ever since our first week of junior high, she has been critisising us on our immaturity. I will admit that we fidget a little, but we are NOT “as badly behaved as kindergarteners!”

Frustration. :P

I may not blog much for a while, because Ted has to have his iBook plugged in for me to blog. And he won’t all the time. Soooo, anyway.
Not much has happened. The school europe group is gong to GREECE AND ROME AND ITALY and if there is anywhere I ver want to go it’s there, and i can’t. No way I can raise 1600 dollars on my own by january twentieth. I want to go sooooo terribly. My favorite subject ever is Ancient history- and that is where it all took place! *sob* If I could raise the money, mom wouldn’t let me go, which is perfectly understandable, I have never been on a plane or anything, and she would only let me go if she could go too. *sniff*
I am mad.
OK, that’s better.
Well, I am talking to Mal, and need to coninue, and read blogs, and wait…I am supposed to be in bed. Oh well, that’s only by my standards.
The Redwall Feast is coming along great! :D
” Oh for the open road,
No dullards life for me!
The world is my abode,
performing endlessly.
I’m free, I’m free, companions we,
Travel the highways happily,
Performing deeds of derring-do,
And plays of heroes good and true.
Tumbling singing in merry attire,
Pray tell me sir, what is your desire?
Come fiddle dum diddle dum derry down dey,
A harum scarum hoopala hey,
Come one, come all this day to see,
The Wandering Noonvale Company!

I am running out of titles. Argh.

Well, it’s been a while. I don’t want to catch up, so I wont. Except, I butchered the audition. I think God has been trying to tell me to look before I leap, not to do too many things on the spur of the moment. My practices, if I had gotten in, would have been five days a week from 4-7:30, and then I would have homework! Almost impossible, with my mom’s teaching schedule (piano) and my school and all. Oh well, I should have thought a little more.
Well, ted is now back at RIT, meaning college.
My great friend mallory is a born encourager. She seems to thrive on encouraging people. Especially me. She is so kind…
She made me a “Pick-me-up”, commonly refered to as a “pick-hannah-up”. It was two boxes made completely of popsicle sticks and decorated. One was decorated with a little wood mouse, and had lots of little papers in it. They have encouraging Bible verses and little bits of advice from the completely ignorant mallory (according to herself). Then she put a skor bar (which I love!) in the other box and gave it to my mom as a suprise for me. She picked the right day, that was the day I ruined my audition.
Here is my encouragram for the day:
“Never give up.
No matter what ANYone says or does,
God loves you so don’t give up.
He is your goal.”
Thanks mal! :)
I am going to go to bed…long day today, another tomorrow.
ooh, talking to caleb, cousin, ted’s brother, and I never get to. I really want that kitty. argh.
